BetaNews | MSN to Boost E-Mail Storage Space: "Exclusive In response to rival e-mail services enticing customers with high capacity storage, Microsoft's MSN unit will soon announce its intentions to follow suit, BetaNews has learned.
Redmond executives have been mulling over how to respond to the storage frenzy, and are set to unveil a plan that will go into effect in July."

This is fantastic news! Since I have an MSN Explorer account (which comes with my Verizon DSL package) it would be very nice to boost the limit. I do not personally need that much space, but any change permitting more free use is a good thing.

What I would rather see, though, is increasing storage space to only 50mb and most importantly opening the POP3 ports for standard customers. Opening SMTP would be a lot better, but that'd be too much to ask.

It's too early in the morning for me to be making any real sense. :oP
