BBC NEWS | Americas | Moore film divides America: "Michael Moore's award-winning documentary Fahrenheit 9/11 has opened to rave reviews - but not among supporters of President George Bush.
The filmmaker has made it clear that he wants this film to send Mr Bush crashing to defeat in November's presidential election."
I saw this film last night (Friday night) and my conclusion is simple: Moore deserves all awards in the industry. He was very candid, and kept the footage and interviews speak for themselves. His narrative was limited and more of a guide than dictatorial. His research is astounding, and his use of ordinary people and non-spotlighted politicians is both clever and clean. He is not fighting with this movie; he is merely expressing an opinion with footage from the horse's mouth -- no interpretations needed on his behalf. A must-see film before November 2004 (for all eligible American voters, and also everyone else).
