BBC SPORT | Olympics 2004 | Harrison handed doping ban: "US sprinter Calvin Harrison has been suspended for two years after being found guilty of a doping violation.
As a result he becomes ineligible for the Athens Olympics.
Harrison, a gold medallist in the 4x400m relay in Sydney, tested positive for the banned stimulant modafinil at the 2003 US championships."
One more day, and another banning of an American track and field athlete. Is it just me, or is the world better off just banning the entire squad (both male and female) as their laundry list of offenses is much greater than China's (probably!) when they were nationally banned from the Olympics in the 1990's due to banned substance abuse. Get real, USA... CHEATERS ARE PROHIBITED, AND CHEATERS ALWAYS LOSE in the end.
