BBC SPORT | Other Sport | Cycling | Armstrong voices Tour fears: "Five-times champion Lance Armstrong is concerned Tuesday's third stage of the Tour de France could prove treacherous.
The 210km stage from Waterloo in Belgium to Wasquehal in France contains two sections on cobbled roads."
For those unaware, this year's Tour de France is actually a patchwork of various segments not typically run. The previous stages had not been utilized since the mid-to-late 1990's, for instance. This change of course pace will actually end up being quite the interesting Tour, I tell ya wut!
