Hair doesn't belong in frozen foods, Goya!

I just opened a package of GOYA Ripe Plantains (from the frozen foods aisle), and there was hair in there. HAIR! And not just one, and not one of my own. It was frozen and embedded in there, and also sticking out from the side.

Usually I wouldn't mind -- mostly because it might be long to me. But, in this case, I mind. Just like any human being, I don't want to eat somebody else's hair in my meal. Much less that from a foreign country and a manufacturing plant that you may no longer trust.

In this case, the product is from Honduras. I hear it's a nice place in Latin America, but this experience changes things a bit. I mean, where is the quality control? And as it has been pointed out to me, they do have quality control -- it's called inspecting the product and infusing one's own hair into the frozen foods products. It's disgusting.

I don't plan on eating any other Goya food products (at least until I receive a formal apology and a full refund and assurances to their quality), and I even took a dozen digital photos of this quality control mishap as well as a 25-second video [both with my Sony digital camera].

Goya, if you are reading this: HAIR DOES NOT BELONG IN YOUR FOODS, FROZEN OR OTHERWISE!!!

In case if you're wondering, the alternate lunch for the day is a package of Pasta Sides, with vegetable samosas, and bite-size seafood crab cakes from Trader Joe's.
