Script Idea, Part 2

Pursuant to the script idea provided back in November, 2005, the middle portions of the script are beginning to take form.

Most notably, the use of Blur's music as part of the soundtrack. From their "Best of..." album, there is a great compendium of tunes and lyrics like, The Universal, Song 2, and Coffee and TV.

As for the script itself, it would be part of the "high school garage band" and the dummer's love interest in a girl 2 academic grades higher, but only 1 year older. There is plenty of teen angst, driving an American car, music video and celebrity gossip amongst the girls, and the beach. Ahh, the beach! The setting can be Florida, the Georgia coast, Long Island (NY), Malibu (CA), or even an American high school abroad... Cancun!

For a real romantic twist, it is a white boy in love with a half-hispanic/half-german girl. She would be upper-middle class; he, straight middle.

Hmm, I sense a real script developing. Now, I just have to think about the actual dialogue...
