Unusual Funeral Request

So, everybody who knows me knows that I am cultrually "strange" -- my rationale for everything is unconventional, and often misunderstood.

An unusual yet deeply-rooted favor that I ask is to have techno music play in the background. And not just any contemporary "techno" music; I have 2 specific items on the playlist:

1. Paul Oakenfold's BBC Radio1's Essential Mix, Live in Havana, Cuba (1999). This liveset is truly one of a kind, and has so many melodic ups and downs that it truly rivets the heart. What's more, it has an extremely high sentimental value -- it was the first liveset that I shared with my beloved girlfriend. She fell in love with the music -- then, we fell in love with each other. No matter what the future holds, she has taught me valuable life lessons to which she deserves full credit. Without her, I would be a lesser man (yeah, cliché, I know).

2. Royksopp's Royksopp's Night Out (2006 Live EP), in its entirety. Furthermore, I would like this album to be played in a looped fashion as the background music -- as well as specific acoustic attention being paid to certain tracks (like "What Else Is There"). As I sit here and listen to the album for the nth time, I am realizing the emotions packed into the entire production and live recording: both the male and the female vocalists have such energy in refrain and shreiking passion. This sense of vocal imposition is truly unique; although the vocalists are off-key at times, that actually adds to the emotional energy being exerted. If you were in their position and tried to perform -- yet, were choked up by feelings -- then you would probably sound similar. And, that's the real beauty: truth and honesty.

3. Optionally, any contemporary "techno" music may be added to the playlist -- but only 1 album or liveset. For all I know, by the time I pass away, there might be another tune or two which I would very much appreciate to be on the list -- so, this is the slot for which it may fit.

Thank you, and good night.
